Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, development and delivery of group‑wide learning initiatives for Kanji Group. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with business leaders to create scalable, engaging programmes that boost capability and support performance across a national portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and deliver programmes covering leadership, operational, compliance and professional development.
• Lead the digitalisation of training content, including e‑learning, virtual sessions, facilitator guides and blended solutions.
• Manage and optimise the Go1 Learning Management System, acting as the primary LMS contact.
• Conduct needs analyses, identify capability gaps and create competency frameworks and training matrices.
• Partner with leaders to enhance workforce capability, engagement and performance.
• Coordinate internal and external training resources for specialist learning requirements.
• Measure learning effectiveness through reporting, feedback and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Education, Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of senior L&D experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or blue‑collar environments.
• Proven track record delivering regulatory and compliance‑focused training.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design and blended learning methodologies.
• Experience managing LMS platforms and e‑learning solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
