Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial (Brisbane)

About the role

As a Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial based in Brisbane, you will drive the delivery of complex electrical projects across the QLD industrial sector. You will act as the primary liaison with clients and internal teams, ensuring technical excellence and project success.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders on electrical works.
• Lead technical design for projects and manage client portfolios.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop junior engineers.
• Oversee project progress, budgets, and performance outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships and drive opportunities to successful completion.
• Promote continuous improvement and best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in low‑voltage (LV) and high‑voltage (HV) electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience on Oil and Gas projects.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
• Strong track record of managing projects in line with client policies and specifications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
