Lead Data Analyst – Loyalty Insights (South Bank, QLD)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to transform loyalty data into actionable insights that drive customer engagement, growth, and commercial impact. You will own the development of a world‑class loyalty data ecosystem and guide a high‑performing analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise a loyalty data ecosystem that supports program growth and member engagement.
• Create reporting frameworks and performance dashboards to surface meaningful loyalty metrics.
• Report on KPIs such as member lifetime value, earn and redemption rates, and overall program performance.
• Collaborate with loyalty, brand, technology and data teams to align priorities and deliver data‑driven outcomes.
• Support program planning with upfront value estimation and post‑execution analysis.
• Champion advanced analytics and predictive modelling to optimise loyalty performance.
• Drive data enablement, automation and innovation initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional analytics, reporting and BI projects from prioritisation to delivery.
• Manage roadmaps, timelines and stakeholder expectations while ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Build, coach and develop a team of data analysts and data scientists.

Required profile

• 5+ years delivering analytics solutions, preferably in retail or customer‑facing industries.
• Experience with loyalty programmes and customer engagement strategies.
• Proven ability to generate measurable business value through data and analytics.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading analytical teams.
