Junior Litigation Lawyer – Planning & Property Disputes

About the role

You will work on planning and property disputes, gaining hands‑on experience in technical litigation from the initial instruction through to court hearings and resolution. The position offers exposure to senior lawyers, clients, counsel, experts and government bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior lawyers on active matters, including legal research and advice.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, submissions, evidence bundles and court documents.
• Draft briefs to counsel and manage case files throughout their lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, experts, consultants and government agencies as required.

Required profile

• Junior lawyer with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Preferably 2 years of paralegal or law clerk experience in litigation.
• Some exposure to planning, property, commercial litigation or local‑government matters.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
