IT Support Associate – Sydney

About the role

Amazon is looking for an IT Support Associate to join its Sydney corporate office. You will provide end‑user technical assistance, manage infrastructure, and support audiovisual equipment for Amazon employees. This role enables teams to stay focused on their core work while you handle the technology challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Research, resolve, and respond to user requests with high‑quality support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux computing issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to process support tickets, incidents, and project activities.
• Assist with triage and escalation of server, system, or network problems.
• Maintain accurate inventory of Amazon‑owned equipment.
• Provide hands‑on and remote support for teleconferencing and AV presentation equipment.
• Work a rostered business‑hours shift (Mon‑Fri) and participate in an on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 1+ years of corporate‑setting support experience for Windows, macOS or Linux operating systems.
• Experience setting up, taking down and relocating PC systems.
• 1+ years with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 1+ years troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 1+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• Experience supporting a corporate network environment.
