About the role
The Internal Review Specialist will join Allianz's Internal Review Team in Sydney, focusing on personal injury claims. Reporting to the Internal Review Manager, you will provide independent, legally‑sound reviews of claim decisions while delivering high‑quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent internal reviews of claims decisions and prepare Certificates of Determination with clear reasoning.
- Communicate with customers by telephone throughout the review process.
- Prepare and submit legal responses to applications lodged with the Personal Injury Commission.
- Interact with lawyers and other stakeholders to facilitate the review process.
- Ensure compliance with NSW CTP legislation and meet statutory timeframes.
- Support the development and management of relationships with external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Strong legal, technical and analytical abilities, especially in interpreting NSW CTP legislation.
- Excellent written communication skills, able to translate complex legal findings into plain English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record of delivering clear, effective customer solutions.
- Collaborative team player adaptable to dynamic work settings.
- Interest in leveraging emerging technologies within a digital landscape.
