About the role

We are a fast‑moving, cloud‑first accounting firm seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant who takes ownership of client work, delivers high‑quality results quickly, and communicates professionally. This role offers direct access to leadership and clear pathways for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compliance and client delivery across a portfolio of businesses.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS filings.
• Handle client communication and follow‑up.
• Oversee workflow management and job progression.
• Support light review responsibilities and maintain quality across junior/offshore work.

Required profile

• Consistently deliver work on time and produce clean, review‑ready files.
• Respond quickly and professionally, keeping workflow moving without constant follow‑up.
• Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
• Thrive in structured environments and care about getting things right the first time.

Required skills

• Experience with Xero.
• Proficiency in cloud‑based accounting systems (e.g., XPM/Karbon, FYI).
