Human Resources Advisor – Perth

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Advisor to join our high‑performing team in Perth. You will support day‑to‑day HR and industrial relations activities, help maintain compliance, and contribute to a positive workforce culture aligned with BMD’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end recruitment process for white‑collar roles, including advertising, screening, coordinating interviews, reference checks and preparing offer documentation.
• Assist the Human Resources Manager with low‑risk industrial relations matters by preparing documentation and gathering information.
• Provide first‑level advice to management on employee relations, transfers and retention, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate staff relocations with the Travel and Procurement team to ensure smooth mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Help draft, review and update corporate policies and procedures as directed.
• Participate in university career fairs and early‑talent engagement activities.
• Carry out generalist HR duties and project‑based support as assigned.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel interstate when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
