About the role
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Advisor with 2‑4 years of experience to join our high‑performing team in Perth. You will support day‑to‑day HR and industrial relations activities, help maintain compliance, and contribute to a positive workforce culture.
Key responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end recruitment for white‑collar roles, including advertising, screening, interview coordination, reference checks and offer preparation.
- Assist the HR Manager with low‑risk industrial relations matters by preparing documentation and gathering information.
- Provide first‑level advice to managers on employee relations, transfers and retention, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Coordinate staff relocations with the Travel and Procurement team, ensuring smooth mobilisation and demobilisation.
- Help draft, review and update corporate policies and procedures.
- Participate in university career fairs and early‑talent engagement activities.
- Perform generalist HR duties and project‑based support as assigned.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 2‑4 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced project environment.
- Willingness to travel interstate when required and to uphold BMD’s culture and values.
