HSE Advisor – FIFO (8/6) – WA Sites

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join its site‑based team in Western Australia on a FIFO 8/6 roster and other flexible rosters. This permanent full‑time position reports to the HSE Manager and supports all Sodexo functions on client sites in the mining and oil & gas sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site audits and risk assessments in line with client and Sodexo requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, produce detailed follow‑up reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, mentoring and coaching to onsite personnel.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement HSE systems, policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive safety culture and contribute to toolbox talks and pre‑start meetings.
• Support HSE projects and initiatives as required by the portfolio.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or full Australian working rights.
• Ability to undergo a pre‑employment medical, drug & alcohol testing and provide a recent National Police Check.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the safety industry.
• Certificate IV in Health and Safety.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
• Current WA manual driver’s licence.
• Experience conducting ICAM investigations (preferred).
