HR Advisor – People & Culture (12‑Month FTC)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity supports a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven organisation in Wollongong. As a People & Culture Advisor you will deliver end‑to‑end HR services across the employee life‑cycle, partnering with leaders to foster a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR advice on employee relations, contracts, and workforce matters.
• Manage high‑volume contract generation and workforce administration.
• Interpret Awards, employment legislation and internal frameworks.
• Support performance management, employee relations and compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders across a multi‑site environment.
• Contribute to HR initiatives, policy improvements and process enhancements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or currently studying).
• Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR / People & Culture role.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, employment legislation and Awards.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage a high‑volume workload.
• Proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
