HR Advisor

About the role

Glencere’s McArthur River Mine is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its Northern Territory team. This generalist role partners with leaders and employees across the operation, delivering practical HR support and helping to build a high‑performing workplace culture in a fast‑paced mining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice on a wide range of people matters to leaders and staff.
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities, especially during periods of high demand.
• Manage employee lifecycle administration, including variations, contracts, and record‑keeping in HR systems.
• Apply HR policies consistently, building strong relationships with managers and employees.
• Assist with performance management, employee relations, and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Participate in HR projects and site‑based people initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous generalist HR experience, preferably in mining, resources, construction or a similar operational setting.
• Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong organisational ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
