Hospital Pharmacist – Buderim Private Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Hospital Pharmacist to join the Slade Pharmacy team located within Buderim Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast. The role offers hands‑on clinical pharmacy services supporting in‑patients, day‑infusion patients and discharge processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation for in‑patients.
• Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products.
• Coordinate patient medication requirements during inpatient stay, day‑infusion and discharge.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with multidisciplinary team members and key stakeholders.
• Provide support and education to patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA‑registered pharmacist with Australian working rights.
• Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
• Excellent time‑management, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to undertake comprehensive training and transition into hospital pharmacy.
