Guest Service Generalist

About the role

The Guest Service Generalist supports the front office, housekeeping, food & beverage and maintenance teams to ensure owners and guests receive courteous, efficient service throughout their stay. This role combines guest interaction, administrative duties and basic operational tasks in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet owners and guests, manage check‑in and check‑out, handle luggage and cash transactions.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries, process tour and travel bookings, and perform night‑audit procedures.
• Maintain guest accommodation cleanliness and upkeep of common areas.
• Assist with food and beverage preparation and service as needed.
• Support basic maintenance tasks to keep facilities in good condition.
• Operate administrative equipment including email, Microsoft Word, Excel and credit‑card settlement machines.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings and school holidays.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using credit‑card settlement equipment.
