Grader Operator – FIFO at Iron Bridge Mine

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our Production Mining Team at the Iron Bridge Mine. This permanent FIFO position offers the chance to work with CAT 16 and 24M graders in a dynamic open‑cut environment, supporting safe and efficient material handling.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CAT 16 and 24M graders efficiently, safely and competently to maximise output.
• Maintain floor levels, stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure smooth material flow.
• Carry out pre‑start checks and adhere to Thiess policies, procedures and health‑safety standards.
• Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of equivalent experience operating CAT 16 or 24M graders in a mining production operation.
• Strong understanding of ore mark‑ups, pit configuration and floor/bund maintenance.
• Commitment to health and safety compliance at all times.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
