General Manager – Australia

About the role

Moog is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations at its Australian site. You will be responsible for building capability, delivering 100 % quality and on‑time delivery, and shaping a growing operation with strong executive visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operations and mentor teams to produce mission‑critical missile steering and control systems.
• Execute growth strategy for Moog Australia while ensuring 100 % quality and on‑time delivery.
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement.
• Own site P&L, balancing revenue growth, cost control and investment priorities.
• Partner with the Business Unit General Manager on customer engagement and program transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field; advanced degree (MBA or MSc) preferred.
• 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in defence or aerospace.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 security clearance and ITAR access.
• Proven leadership of high‑performing teams and a strong continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of production processes for complex defence systems.
• Experience with missile steering controls, actuation systems or propulsion technologies.
