Finance Manager – $150k-$160k + Super + Bonus

About the role

This Finance Manager position partners with senior leadership to drive performance across major national accounts for a globally recognised organisation. Based in Sydney’s western suburbs, you will act as a trusted business partner, providing commercial guidance and financial insight to operational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver analytical support for pricing architecture and customer profitability business cases.
• Oversee weekly and monthly performance reporting of sales, margin and operational KPIs.
• Lead monthly business reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities and performance drivers for senior stakeholders.
• Manage month‑end close processes, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business scenarios, investment opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Drive margin improvement initiatives through cost analysis, pricing reviews and operational efficiency assessments.
• Provide oversight of stock reporting, inventory valuation and transport & logistics cost allocations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control requirements.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Champion finance transformation projects such as automation, system enhancements and process improvements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified finance professional.
• Minimum five years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering.
• Background in FMCG, logistics or a similarly complex, high‑volume industry.
• Proven ability to provide commercial insight and influence senior stakeholders.
