Educational Team Leader – AMEP/SEE (Temporary)

About the role

TAFE Queensland is seeking an Educational Team Leader to guide the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) delivery teams at either the Ipswich or Toowoomba campus. This temporary full‑time position runs until 30 June 2027 and reports to the Faculty Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the AMEP/SEE teaching teams to ensure efficient, high‑quality delivery to students.
• Promote job satisfaction and a positive working environment for teaching staff.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and compliance with vocational training standards.
• Coordinate with campus leadership to align educational delivery with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (minimum three years) from an Australian university or recognised equivalent.
• Post‑graduate TESOL qualification with a supervised practicum of 60 hours (minimum 25 hours supervised teaching).
• At least 100 hours of recent ESL or Adult Literacy/Numeracy teaching experience (last three years).
• Current industry skills relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
• Demonstrated knowledge of vocational training and learning methodologies.
