Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

Journey Early Learning is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join its St Albans centre. You will help shape a purpose‑built environment where children from birth to five thrive, working alongside the Centre Manager and Educational Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver intentional teaching programs that support each child’s learning journey.
• Document and assess children’s progress in line with the EYLF and NQS standards.
• Collaborate with the centre team to foster a culture of quality, curiosity and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and staff.

Required profile

• ACEQCA‑approved Bachelor, Master’s or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Current VIT registration.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Confidence in programming, documentation and assessment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
