Director of Financial Control

About the role

Adventist Healthcare is seeking a senior finance leader to drive transformational change across its ERP and digital innovation landscape. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape the financial control function for NSW’s largest private hospital, ensuring robust reporting, governance and audit practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of the financial control function, covering reporting, controls, governance, treasury and audit.
• Strengthen balance‑sheet integrity and improve reporting quality and process efficiency.
• Enhance systems and automation, delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Oversee audit activities and provide financial insights for executive decision‑making.
• Assess the current operating model and implement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Drive the organisation’s ERP transformation, selecting and implementing a new enterprise‑wide finance and procurement system.

Required profile

• Hands‑on financial control leader with a passion for process improvement and change management.
• Strong technical finance expertise combined with stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Proven ability to guide teams through complex transformation journeys.
