DevOps Engineer (Baseline/NV1 Clearance) – $170k + Super

About the role

We are seeking hands‑on DevOps Engineers with Baseline or NV1 security clearance to join a global consultancy. The role is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days on‑site per week in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, and offers a competitive total remuneration of $160k‑$180k (base plus super).

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD and OpenShift.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of Windows and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to innovate, challenge the status quo and deliver high‑quality solutions for clients.
• Participate in a three‑stage interview process, including technical assessments and senior‑leadership discussions.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to experiment with new ways of working.
• Ability to work on‑site when critical issues arise.

Required skills

• AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Kubernetes, ArgoCD, OpenShift container technologies.
• Windows and Linux administration, including command‑line scripting.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI (nice to have).
