About the role
Datacom is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join its growing team in Perth CBD. You will deliver end‑user services to a range of customers, ensuring hardware and software are ready, reliable and aligned with business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality technical support in a fast‑paced environment, prioritising customer satisfaction.
- Assist new users with hardware collection, setup and configuration.
- Prepare laptops, mobile phones and other equipment for deployment.
- Record all interactions in the designated ITSM tool and keep customers informed of progress.
- Maintain customer infrastructure proactively and drive service improvements.
- Follow ITIL best practices for change and release management.
Required profile
- Australian citizenship.
- Strong focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
- Ability to manage workload to meet service‑level agreements.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users.
