Configuration Controller

About the role

The Configuration Controller will develop, implement and manage processes that keep configuration baselines, technical artefacts and data sets up‑to‑date for Rheinmetall Defence Australia projects. This role ensures that all configuration information supports project availability, safety, quality, cost, schedule and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain configuration data, parts, software and documents in both electronic and hard‑copy formats.
• Manage complex Bills of Materials (BoMs), parts lists, drawings and build‑state documentation.
• Apply strong governance to ensure consistent data handling across the company.
• Collaborate with project teams to align configuration data with project requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with BoM and parts‑list management.
• Ability to work under Rheinmetall’s values of Safety, Partnering, Openness, Respect and Trust (SPORT).
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Government Security Clearance.

• Siemens Teamcentre
• SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP QM, SAP PM
• Management of material parts‑list structures
• Documentation of drawings and configuration states
