Business Services Manager – Path to Partnership

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Services Manager to lead our business services and tax team within a dynamic, cloud‑based accounting firm on Brisbane's Northside. The role offers a clear pathway to partnership for those who wish to pursue it, with mentorship from senior directors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multidisciplinary team of 70+ professionals across two locations and an offshore unit.
• Oversee delivery of accounting, audit & assurance, and business advisory services to SMEs, non‑profits, corporations, partnerships and individuals.
• Review and ensure quality of client work, maintaining compliance and high service standards.
• Develop junior staff, support senior accountants aspiring to principal or director roles, and contribute to firm growth strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships across a broad range of industry sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a mid‑tier accounting environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong desire for career progression; partnership aspirations are optional.
• Relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
