Business Analyst – Digital Delivery (12‑Month Secondment)

About the role

The Business Analyst – Digital Delivery will be a key contributor to ANZ’s Single Customer Front End (SCFE) program, a strategic initiative that aims to create a unified, seamless digital experience across all customer channels. Reporting to the BA Practice Lead, you will work within cross‑functional Agile squads to translate business needs into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse strategic business needs and convert them into clear, actionable requirements, focusing on commercial impact and customer‑centric outcomes.
• Support end‑to‑end delivery while embedding governance, risk awareness, and operational controls into business analysis practices.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams through effective communication, active listening and influence.
• Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies and risks for SCFE‑related initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, participate in backlog grooming, options analysis and benefits realisation.
• Produce detailed business requirements, epics and user stories and liaise with Agile Delivery Leads to ensure successful technical delivery.
• Define and document success metrics, acceptance criteria and non‑functional requirements in partnership with squads and other business areas.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
