Bizops Engineer II

About the role

The Bizops Engineer II will join Mastercard’s RiskPS BizOps team as a Site Reliability Engineer. You will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure the platform is production‑ready, highly available, and continuously improving through automation and best‑in‑class SRE practices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents.
• Design, build, and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and self‑healing.
• Partner with development, quality, and release teams to embed reliability criteria early in the software lifecycle.
• Drive the SRE transformation by advocating standards, tooling, and proactive risk management.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce manual intervention.
• Maintain compliance and risk mitigation across all environments.

• Detail‑oriented and comfortable handling complex technical challenges.
• Low tolerance for manual processes; eager to automate wherever possible.
• Experience collaborating across development, operations, and product teams.
