About the role
Google is seeking an Associate Recruiter to support its Cloud Go‑To‑Market teams in Australia. You will guide candidates through the hiring process, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and use data‑driven insights to improve recruitment efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Support applicant assessment and align candidates with team needs based on role profiles.
- Screen candidates, coordinate interview schedules, and manage the interview process.
- Partner with business leaders, recruiting partners, and hiring stakeholders to develop hiring solutions.
- Track and manage headcount for cross‑project groups, ensuring accurate mapping of job postings and influencing hiring strategy.
- Develop and execute cross‑project initiatives that enhance recruiting outcomes.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, business development, operations, or account management.
- At least 1 year of recruiting experience in an agency or in‑house team.
- Preferred 2 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience and 1 year of experience negotiating complex compensation packages.
- Proven problem‑solving ability, strong communication skills, and initiative.
- High accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
