About the role
As an Assistant Accountant at Accor you will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations across our hotel portfolio. You will work closely with property teams and internal stakeholders to implement and follow financial procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and process bank transfers and refunds.
- Assist the accounting team with month‑end close, profit & loss review and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
- Raise monthly invoices and monitor timely collection of aged debt.
- Reconcile BAS and FBT and provide transactional support for leases and HMA network.
- Ensure properties adhere to prescribed financial procedures and support audit requirements.
- Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Accountant or Finance Manager.
Required profile
- A relevant degree in accounting or commerce.
- Previous experience in hospitality finance, night audit or duty management.
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated individual who embraces Accor’s core values.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
