Airport Services Agent – Sydney

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking an Airport Services Agent to join its Sydney team. You will deliver high‑quality service to passengers, ensuring a smooth, stress‑free experience while complying with safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide top‑level customer service at all touch points, including check‑in, boarding, and lounge areas.
• Liaise continuously with check‑in, boarding gate, ramp, cargo, and lounge teams.
• Supervise service partners to ensure seamless passenger acceptance.
• Direct arriving and departing passengers to appropriate zones such as arrival hall, transfer area, departure gate, and lounge.
• Verify entry requirements (visas, residence permits) are satisfied.
• Coordinate with cargo, fueling, baggage, aircraft loading, and catering teams for efficient turn‑around.
• Handle company mail, perform pre‑ and post‑flight administration, and manage baggage claims.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Airways safety and security policies and on‑time performance targets.

Required profile

• High school qualification.
• Minimum two years of customer‑facing experience in an airport environment.
• Knowledge of airport functions, including passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance, and dangerous goods regulations.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
