AI Solution Designer – Data & AI

About the role

The AI Solution Designer will join KPMG’s Mid‑Market & Private Data & AI practice, helping clients translate business challenges into enterprise‑grade AI solutions. Working across Azure and AWS platforms, you will design, build and deliver multi‑agent systems, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines and large‑scale AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑agent AI solutions that integrate large language models, APIs and enterprise data.
• Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines, including embeddings, vector stores, retrievers and re‑ranking strategies.
• Develop solutions on Azure AI (AI Foundry, OpenAI, AI Search) and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, OpenSearch/Kendra).
• Translate business requirements into high‑quality technical designs and drive enterprise‑wide implementation.
• Define evaluation frameworks, LLM performance metrics, guardrails and hallucination mitigation.
• Embed responsible AI principles—security, compliance, privacy and safety—into all designs.
• Lead workshops, produce high‑level and low‑level designs, and present solutions to technical and executive audiences.
• Deliver production‑ready code, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AI Solution Designer or Senior Solution Designer in a consulting environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop‑facilitation abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering end‑to‑end enterprise AI/ML solutions.
• Solid engineering background with hands‑on Python development.

• Large language models (e.g., Anthropic Claude) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation techniques.
