About the role

We are looking for an AI Front‑End Software Engineer (UI) to join our growing technology team in Melbourne. The role focuses on building modern, user‑facing products that run in real‑world production environments, turning complex functionality into intuitive, polished interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive UI components using modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Translate product and UX specifications into clean, accessible frontend experiences.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and services.
• Contribute to shared component libraries and design‑system patterns.
• Optimize performance, load times and overall responsiveness of the application.
• Support debugging and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Participate in product discussions with a strong focus on user experience.

Required profile

• Strong interest in UI, frontend engineering and product design.
• Attention to visual polish, spacing, layout and interaction details.
• Enjoys building intuitive workflows and considering edge cases.
• Curious and eager to learn modern frontend best practices.

Required skills

• 1–5 years of experience building frontend or UI‑focused applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Vue or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Understanding of component‑based architecture and state management.
• Ability to create responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Familiarity with REST API integration.
• Experience with design systems, performance optimisation and frontend tooling is a plus.
