Advanced Pharmacist – Safety, Quality & Governance (Infusion Pumps)

About the role

CHQ is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist to provide specialist clinical and consultancy services for medication infusion pump governance, drug library development and safety oversight. This part‑time position works two days per week within a leading paediatric health service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and audit medication infusion pump drug libraries for B.Braun and PCA/NCA pumps.
• Provide clinical leadership on paediatric quality use of medicines and medication safety related to infusion pump fleets.
• Lead training and education for pharmacy and nursing staff on pump operation and drug library management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with extensive experience in paediatric pharmacy.
• Demonstrated expertise in medication safety and quality governance.
• Ability to deliver clinical education and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to part‑time work schedule (2 days per week).
