Administrative Assistant – Project Team (Sydney)

About the role

Fracht Australia is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join its Project team in Sydney. This full‑time position supports freight forwarding projects through documentation, coordination and general administrative tasks, offering a pathway to grow within the logistics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify project documentation.
• Enter data and update systems, including CargoWise.
• Follow up on documentation with internal teams, clients, shipping lines and transport companies.
• Maintain and organise project‑related files and records.
• Assist with customer communications as needed.
• Support onboarding documentation for new projects or clients.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Previous administration and customer‑service experience, preferably in transport or freight forwarding.
• Strong attention to detail when handling documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset and strong organisational skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CargoWise (training can be provided).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SharePoint.
