Accountant – 14‑month Fixed‑term Role

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join a global technology‑enabled services provider for the financial services sector. This 14‑month fixed‑term position supports a high‑performing team serving asset managers, banks and investment firms across Australia and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end billing and revenue recognition for projects
• Weekly cash‑flow forecasting for two entities
• Weekly follow‑up and monthly review of project timesheets
• Monthly FBT calculation and accrual journal preparation
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS returns
• Balance‑sheet reconciliations and general journal entries
• End‑of‑month cost allocation

Required profile

• CPA/CA qualified or near‑qualified
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
• Experience with Workday is desirable
