Account Manager – Agriculture Sales (Remote, Australia)

About the role

Join BASF as an Account Manager responsible for driving sales performance across the salads and open‑field tomato portfolios in Queensland and New South Wales, while also overseeing the New Zealand distribution account. This remote position supports the company’s sustainable agriculture mission.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales results for the assigned region in line with agreed volume and revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and key local stakeholders.
• Manage customer orders, demand visibility and ongoing commercial activities.
• Support the execution of crop group and business strategies at a regional level.
• Provide timely market and customer feedback to support forecasting and business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Capability to negotiate pricing and commercial terms within established guidelines.
• Analytical mindset to contribute to accurate regional sales forecasts.
