Social Media Manager

About the role

Bursty is a creative agency at the crossroads of sport, culture and content. We are seeking a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social trends and can shape how our clients and owned brands appear online.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute paid and organic social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok and additional channels, managing budgets and targeting.
• Identify cultural trends in sport, music, fashion and internet culture and translate them into timely content ideas.
• Build and maintain content calendars that balance always‑on activity, campaign moments and reactive trend‑led posts.
• Brief and collaborate with designers, creatives and editors to bring concepts to life.
• Write sharp, on‑brand copy adaptable to multiple brand voices.
• Own community management, driving engagement and audience growth.
• Monitor platform algorithms, format changes and emerging features, proposing new opportunities.
• Deliver regular performance reporting with actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to strategic presentations and client discussions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of social media experience, preferably with sport, culture or lifestyle brands or agencies.
• Proven track record developing and delivering paid and organic social strategies that achieve measurable results.
• Hands‑on experience managing paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok, including audience targeting and budget optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms, with a strong instinct for trends.
