Senior Internal Communications Officer – Flexible

About the role

We are looking for a senior internal communications professional to lead employee engagement at DETSI. In this role you will craft compelling stories, design innovative communication campaigns and help shape a connected, inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Write engaging newsletters, announcements and campaigns that inform and inspire staff.
• Design and implement internal communication plans that align employees with DETSI’s strategic objectives.
• Use storytelling to showcase achievements, share updates and foster a sense of belonging.
• Build strong relationships with teams and leaders to understand their communication needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop communication strategies that support organisational change and promote clarity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and execute innovative internal communications plans that boost staff engagement.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of internal communications trends and a drive to continuously improve.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a track record of building professional relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while delivering high‑quality outputs.
