Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer (SFCC)

About the role

This is an opportunity to join a respected commerce consultancy where engineers own their work, influence technical direction, and deliver large‑scale digital commerce initiatives. You will work closely with solution architects, strategists, delivery teams and clients to design scalable commerce solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for enterprise retail environments.
• Build and customise storefront experiences using SFRA and modern frontend technologies.
• Deliver integrations with payment providers, OMS, ERP, CRM and other third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable digital commerce solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, integration, and performance‑related issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Contribute to optimisation and enhancement initiatives across existing commerce environments.

Required profile

• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) / Demandware.
• Familiarity with SFRA and/or SiteGenesis.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development skills.
• Experience in commerce storefront engineering and API/integration development.
• Knowledge of checkout and payment integrations and performance optimisation.
• Exposure to other platforms such as Shopify, Magento or BigCommerce.
• Background in Agile delivery environments.
