Logistics Coordinator – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support warehousing operations for its NGR train fleet in Wulkuraka, Queensland. Working within a close‑knit supply‑chain team, you will help ensure that parts, tools and materials are available for maintenance and operational needs across a 24‑hour rotating shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including high‑reach equipment, to move and store materials safely.
• Pick, pack, and issue stock to maintenance and operations teams.
• Receive incoming goods, perform put‑away tasks, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory checks using warehouse management systems.
• Track and manage tools and assets to guarantee availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Required profile

• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts as required.
• Experience in a similar logistics or parts‑management role is preferred.

Required skills

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating a high‑reach forklift.
• Proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Experience using warehouse management software.
• Basic inventory management and stock control skills.
