IT Support Officer (Entry Level)

About the role

Join the Melbourne Football Club as an IT Support Officer, providing first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to keep our staff connected and productive. You will work both onsite and remotely, supporting a fast‑paced sporting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, printers and peripherals.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks and user accounts.
• Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, delivering in‑person or phone support.
• Repair or replace equipment as needed.
• Test new technologies and train staff on deployed solutions.
• Assist other business areas to achieve their targets where possible.

Required profile

• Motivated entry‑level candidate eager to develop technical skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and personable, friendly nature.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver’s licence and own car for travel between sites.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Printer setup and maintenance.
• Network monitoring basics.
• Account provisioning for new users.
• Equipment repair and replacement.
• Testing new technology and delivering user training.
• Familiarity with macOS, iOS and Android platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ‑104 or CompTIA A+.
