Human Resource Officer – School Corporate Services

About the role

The Governor Stirling Senior High School is looking for a dedicated Human Resource Officer to join its Corporate Services team. This permanent, full‑time position supports both teaching and non‑teaching staff across a range of HR activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage job vacancies using the Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS).
• Coordinate leave and relief arrangements for all staff.
• Oversee the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) for leave, payment and electronic advice processing.
• Assist with the implementation of staff induction programmes.
• Provide accurate HR advice and information to staff at all levels.

Required profile

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work visa.
• Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check before starting.
