Houseperson

About the role

The Houseperson is an essential member of the housekeeping team at Peppers Salt Resort & Spa Kingscliff. You will support room attendants and public‑area staff by delivering amenities, managing linen flow and assisting guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly fulfil guest requests for items such as amenities, beds, cots, blankets and pillows.
• Collect used linens from guest rooms and transport them to the designated laundry area.
• Assist room and public‑area attendants with cleaning tasks when needed.
• Deliver items to guest rooms and ensure housekeeping staff have a steady supply of linens, towels and amenities.
• Handle chemicals and cleaning materials safely, respect guest privacy and report any maintenance issues.
• Provide friendly information about the resort’s facilities and respond to guest questions.

Required profile

• Warm, welcoming communication style with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical stamina to navigate stairs, pathways and push heavy trolleys.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment.
