About the role
As an Electrical Engineer in Aurecon’s Queensland Transmission and Distribution team, you will help shape the future of the energy sector. You will work with multidisciplinary colleagues to develop power generation, storage, and transmission solutions that support a sustainable transition.
Key responsibilities
- Support clients in designing power generation, energy storage, and transmission & distribution projects.
- Collaborate with experts across disciplines to create integrated system solutions.
- Provide data‑driven insights to guide inclusive decision‑making.
- Contribute to renewable energy initiatives such as solar, wind and battery storage.
- Analyse system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Required profile
- Electrical engineering degree with 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to develop thoughtful solutions for energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
- Curiosity to question the status‑quo and propose innovative ideas.
- Commitment to delivering purposeful, sustainable outcomes.
