Data Scientist – International Analytics

About the role

The International Analytics team at DoorDash is seeking a Data Scientist to guide measurement, strategy, and tactical decision‑making as the logistics platform expands globally. You will turn complex data into actionable insights that influence product, finance, and executive decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, business, finance and executive teams to shape strategic direction using data‑driven insights.
• Conduct quantitative analysis and build dashboards, reports and visualisations with SQL, Python or R.
• Design, execute and evaluate full‑cycle analytics experiments, including A/B tests and causal inference studies.
• Identify levers that move key metrics, develop recommendations and validate findings with statistical techniques.
• Communicate marketplace dynamics, user behaviours and long‑term trends to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with strategy, operations, product, finance and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting or a related quantitative role.
• Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a structured, hypothesis‑driven approach.
• Experience leading strategic projects across multiple cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on experience with experimentation methods such as A/B testing, causal inference and hypothesis testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
