Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

ARCH is seeking a full‑time Cyber Security Specialist to join its team in the Greater Melbourne Area. You will work on‑site with a variety of private and public sector clients, helping them strengthen their security posture against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor SIEM solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Sentinel.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage application and network security controls.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Government information security standards and industry regulations.
• Design and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure network configurations.
• Develop and deliver PKI and ICAM solutions, covering certificate authority hierarchies, lifecycle automation, LDAP, SSO, and role‑based/attribute access control.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as threat assessment, incident response, and risk management.
• Proficiency in network security and experience with Australian Government security practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
