About the role
You will join Magentus’ IT Security Team to protect our healthcare technology platforms. The role focuses on strengthening monitoring, response, and automation across a complex enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities
- Improve and automate cyber security processes.
- Monitor networks and endpoints to detect and prevent threats.
- Proactively hunt for malicious activity across environments.
- Work with stakeholders to manage risks and advanced threats.
- Support rollout of new security tools and technologies.
- Contribute to risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat emulation.
- Perform daily checks, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate responses during APAC hours.
- Respond to security incidents, ensuring timely remediation or escalation.
- Support endpoint detection, email security, zero‑trust access, threat intelligence, and exposure management.
- Assist with tuning, exclusions, quarantines, access remediation, and reporting.
- Represent security in customer meetings and answer security questionnaires.
- Support phishing simulations, training, and security education initiatives.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in information security and 2–3 years in software development.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM, endpoint detection, threat hunting, and sandboxing.
- Knowledge of forensics, reverse engineering, vulnerability assessment, and firewalls.
- Relevant certifications such as SANS, CISSP, OSCP, or eLearn.
- Experience working in a SOC or security‑operations environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
