About the role
BDO is seeking a Consultant to join its growing Indirect Tax team in Queensland. You will work with a diverse client base, including public sector, private organisations, multinational and ASX‑listed companies, providing advice on a range of indirect tax matters.
Key responsibilities
- Develop technical expertise across GST, fuel tax credits, stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax.
- Support delivery of advice on complex and emerging indirect tax issues.
- Apply legal research skills to advise on complex structures, deals and commercial activities.
- Engage directly with clients, attend meetings and respond to queries.
- Collaborate with a talented team to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Required profile
- Experience in tax or business services within professional services, a law firm, or a government revenue office.
- Degree in Law or a dual degree in Law and Business/Commerce.
- Strong written communication skills and a passion for developing technical expertise.
