About the role
We are looking for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join a federal health agency’s digital team. The role involves building, enhancing and maintaining critical health business applications that support the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and test new features using Adobe ColdFusion (2021/2023) and the ColdBox framework.
- Maintain and optimise existing applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Write and maintain SQL queries and PL/SQL code for Oracle 19c databases.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver releases on schedule.
- Produce technical documentation and support materials for ongoing maintenance.
Required profile
- Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to production support.
- Ability to obtain or already hold a Baseline security clearance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work independently or within a hybrid/remote setting.
