ColdFusion Developer – Federal Health Agency

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join a federal health agency’s digital team. The role involves building, enhancing and maintaining critical health business applications that support the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new features using Adobe ColdFusion (2021/2023) and the ColdBox framework.
• Maintain and optimise existing applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and PL/SQL code for Oracle 19c databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver releases on schedule.
• Produce technical documentation and support materials for ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to production support.
• Ability to obtain or already hold a Baseline security clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work independently or within a hybrid/remote setting.
