Technical Lead – Enterprise Integration & Data Platforms

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive enterprise integration and data platform initiatives for a NSW Government client. The role is based in Sydney on a 6‑month contract and will focus on Salesforce, Snowflake and Kafka‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across complex enterprise transformation programmes.
• Design and implement integration solutions using event‑driven architecture, API integrations and CDC connectors.
• Oversee Kafka/Confluent Cloud implementation, event streaming and data pipelines.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Manage technical risks, environment readiness, integration testing and delivery governance.
• Drive Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, Jira management and dependency tracking.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise integration, data platforms and event‑driven architecture.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Salesforce, Snowflake and Kafka (including Confluent Cloud).
• Strong background in leading technical teams within large‑scale transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in Agile environments and manage delivery end‑to‑end.
