Sessional Academic – Creative Arts (Various Disciplines)

About the role

The School of Creative Arts at Queensland University of Technology is building a pool of sessional academics to support teaching and learning across the Bachelor of Creative Arts and Bachelor of Creative Industries. Candidates will work on a range of majors, including Acting, Animation, Creative Writing, Drama, Dance, Film & Screen, Music Production, Design and Visual Arts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, workshops and tutorials in assigned creative disciplines.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and unit planning.
• Participate in induction and mandatory online training for QUT staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of a postgraduate degree in a field relevant to Creative Arts.
• Current, relevant industry experience in the chosen discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching or assessing students.
• Willingness to complete QUT induction and mandatory training.
